About Us
Food has always been our way of connecting — especially when travelling together. My daughter and I have always loved discovering new places through local flavours, seeking out dishes that tell a story and bring people together.
It was during our travels across Central and Eastern Europe — in cities such as Budapest, Prague, and Vienna — that we first discovered chimney cakes. Warm, freshly baked, and impossibly comforting, they quickly became a ritual for us. Once you try one, it’s hard to forget the experience: the aroma, the theatre of baking, and that first bite shared in the moment.
Back in London, we realised something was missing. While the city is full of incredible food, chimney cakes were still largely unknown — or only seen briefly at seasonal markets. We felt there was space to introduce them properly, with care, consistency, and a modern approach that respected their heritage.
The Chimney Stack was born from that idea: to bring an authentic European tradition to London, thoughtfully reimagined for today. Our aim is not just to serve a dessert, but to create small moments of warmth — food that slows you down, invites conversation, and is meant to be enjoyed together.
What began as a shared discovery between a mother and daughter has grown into a brand rooted in craft, simplicity, and community. And we’re excited to share it with you.
